office ja

Founded in 2021 by partners Alice Chiu & Jun Chen, office ja is an interdisciplinary architectural design practice based in Taipei. With deep roots in East Asia, the two partners amalgamate their extensive professional backgrounds from around the world, integrating diverse design disciplines, styles, methodologies and approaches to establish a fresh perspective on design and place-making.

office ja 介建築設計事務所是一多元跨領域的設計事務所，由創辦人 Alice Chiu 和 Jun Chen 於2021年在台北成立。基於多年深植於亞洲各地的建築、都市、景觀與室內設計等國際經驗，兩位創辦人融合了各自廣泛而深入的專業能力，整合多元的設計領域、風格、方法論和設計手法，以嶄新的想法與視野建立其獨有的設計觀與空間營造理念。

office ja 的作品講求空間的流動性與彈性，使空間能夠根據使用者的需求和生活型態的改變而相應演化。在office ja，我們不預設主觀的框架或風格，而是優先考慮空間使用上的簡明性、靈活性和適應性，創造能夠巧妙應對不同功能、偏好和生活方式而演變的空間。通過以適應性為設計的出發點，我們注重空間的靈活性，使空間能符合使用者長期的需求，並提供豐富的空間體驗。

As architects, we meticulously consider material, texture, color palette, and details to enhance authenticity and identity in every project. By thoughtfully selecting materials, layering textures, and curating color palettes, we create spaces that resonate deeply with users. Through precise attention to detail, from handrails to joints, we elevate our designs to meaningful expressions of identity, reflecting the values of those who inhabit them.
