此次作品名Slate，由設計的主色調板岩灰而來，以屋主的個性及喜好為發想，用板岩灰搭配中性淺色調灰泥質感的磁磚及壁紙牆面作為整體公共空間的基調。

此案位於基隆，是一個獨棟五層樓的別墅，因原屋況尚佳，主要做外牆及其中三個樓層的裝修翻新，又以主人使用的四樓整層樓層做整體格局的改動以符合屋主使用需求和改進空間品質，詳見平面圖的Before and After。

整體概念以空間的流動性為主。以四樓為例，設計上將動線以樓梯一上來的藝廊空間做為中心，利用數個拉門創造出回字形的空間，使空間併具靈活性及私密性，可依照當下使用需求調整動線及空間的使用方式。

The project, "Slate," derives its name from the predominant color palette of slate gray. It is conceptualized based on the homeowner's personality and preferences, employing slate gray and light gray tones in the form of stucco textured tiles and wallpaper for the entire public space.

Situated in Keelung, the project involves the refurbishment of a five-story villa. Given the condition of the house, the primary focus is on the exterior walls and the interior renovation of three levels. A comprehensive restructuring of the layout on the fourth floor, primarily designated for the homeowner, is undertaken to align with their functional requirements and elevate the spatial quality, as illustrated in the Before and After floor plans.

The overarching design principle prioritizes spatial fluidity.  For instance, on the fourth floor, the layout is centered around a gallery space at the apex of the staircase, functioning as a pivotal hub. By placing multiple sliding doors in the designed circular spatial configuration, the design provides a nuanced equilibrium between adaptability and privacy. Which facilitates seamless adjustments to pathways and spatial utilization based on dynamic needs. Slate serves not only the fluidity but also the flexibility in space.
